This fall, we’re launching a comprehensive advertising program to offer cookware manufacturers, culinary schools, cookbook publishers, promoters of food festivals — in fact, any business that revolves around food — a great way to market to your target audience.
We’ve intentionally designed BehindTheKnife.com to be extremely viral. From the first day of launch, competition for a coveted profile in each post has been heated. Each chef who is featured on the site is encouraged to post it on his/her homepage, forward it to friends and colleagues, and brag about their exposure. A planned dedicated channel on YouTube and online competitions where professional and amateur readers can submit their videos will only increase our audience — and yours.
We are also planning a traditional media campaign to reach out to food and culinary publications — both print media and online — to tell them about our snarky yet informational take on chefs.
